I was born and raised in a small town in southern Alberta. Growing up I played any sport had the chance to try and always had an interest in the human body. When I finished high school I moved to Lethbridge and completed my Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from the University of Lethbridge. Soon after I began my journey into physiotherapy at the University of Alberta and finished my Masters degree in Physiotherapy in 2013. I have been working in private practice since finishing school and have been able to complete many continuing education courses. My treatment style hast transitioned into a mixture of manual therapy techniques and corrective exercises. Over the years I have developed a passion for treating vestibular patients and look to further my knowledge in this area.

What I enjoy most about physiotherapy is that I have the skills and knowledge to help people live healthier lives and achieve their goals.

When I’m not working I enjoy competing in triathlons, going to the gym, golfing, hiking, snowboarding, and being a father.

I am passionate about keeping people moving and helping them perform at their best - no matter their goals!

I graduated in 2014 and over the past decade, I’ve refined my practice through ongoing education and experience, developing an approach that combines hands-on treatment, targeted exercise, and education. I love looking at the whole person, considering everything from training habits and lifestyle to long-term goals, so we can create a plan that’s built around you.

While I enjoy treating everything from stubborn low back pain to sport injuries to nagging injuries that come back year after year - my absolute passion is supporting active women.

When I first became pregnant it really opened my eyes to how difficult it can be for women to find the information and support for their health & fitness (especially during pregnancy and postpartum). It has become my borderline obsession — to create something that provides this support.

That passion led me to create The Female Athlete Movement, a community initiative that focuses on improving education, collaboration, and support for active women throughout every stage of life. My goal is to help women better understand their bodies while building a community and network of support around them and work to change some of the narratives in the health & fitness space.

Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find me doing exactly what I encourage my patients to do: moving! Whether I’m training for a HYROX event, running, preparing for a triathlon, strength training, bouldering, hiking, mountain biking, or playing soccer - I genuinely love being active. I also spend plenty of time diving into the latest research in women’s health, reading “romantasy” (because - balance), and fun with my family.
